Tiny on the clifftop path at sunset, the bay and the boardwalk spread out below them

Concha and Alby

Portugal

Concha and Alby are two truly special people. Bringing together roots from Portugal and Australia, their connection felt effortless from the very start. We met early in the morning in the south of Portugal, catching the first light and exploring the quiet coastline before the rest of the world woke up.

No stiff posing or forced moments, just time to walk, breathe, and let honest memories take shape on camera. Concha and Alby: you two are wonderful human beings, and I am so grateful I got to capture this slice of your story. Thank you for the trust and warmth.

Lifted into a hug on the clifftop at dusk, laughing over the other's shoulder, the sea behind
Backlit by the low sun, one hand at the other's neck, the dunes behind
Forehead to forehead with the sun burning through between them, a hand on the other's chest
One runs along the clifftop in a blur while the other waits at the edge, the Atlantic behind
A kiss on the clifftop with the sun going down directly behind them
Close in, hands held between them, about to kiss, the light coming through their hair
A kiss with arms around each other, the beach and the dunes burning gold behind
Silhouetted forehead to forehead against the sun, the hills behind them
One laughs with their head back while the other holds them and reaches for their hair
A hug on the clifftop, the surf breaking on the rocks below them
One plays the guitar while the other leans in from behind, arms around their neck
Both looking off and smiling, the guitar across one lap, the ocean behind them
A kiss by the boardwalk rail, one arm around the other's neck, the coast behind
A kiss with both arms around each other, the Atlantic behind them
Walking through the dune scrub at dusk, the whole frame soft with movement
Cheek to cheek with a hand at the back of the other's neck, both of them smiling
One balances along the boardwalk rail holding the other's raised hand, guitar slung behind
Carried on the other's shoulders down the boardwalk, guitar in hand, the beach below
One of them alone on the boardwalk with the guitar, looking back at the camera
Running down the boardwalk toward the other, who waits by the rail with the guitar
Standing together by the rail with the guitar upright between them, the beach behind
A kiss on the boardwalk steps, the guitar held out to one side
Coming back up the boardwalk steps at dusk, guitar in hand, the frame soft with movement
A hug on the sand below the dune, arms around each other's shoulders
Walking across the sand, one turning back mid stride and laughing
One lifted clean off the sand across the other's shoulder, legs out behind
Sitting in the sand and being pulled back up by the hand, both of them laughing
Leaning back against each other's hands in the sand, a counterweight, both laughing
Bent into a hug around the waist on the sand, the other laughing at the camera
Hand in hand on the path down to the lagoon, the boardwalk and the dunes below them
